A Hammer or a Nail

Axioms are plentiful
Some are even true
“Change, the only constant”*l
With Hope constantly renewed

“The root of evil’s money”
But, it’s the ego here to blame
For “The survival of the fittest”
Is how we’ve framed the game

Money … just a medium
… Barter, hand to hand
Not a testament to value
Or, “measure of a man”

Some of those among us
Who have helped construct this game
Use their resources as a hammer
Money’s their claim to fame

The Rothschild’s, Bilderbergs
And Soros are a few
Using others as simply fodder
In doing what they do.

The people who surround them
Little more than shills
Paid to do their bidding
… Cause it pays the bills

Extortion and exploitation
Of the ego of another
Kept in line by fearfulness
If they should fail the ‘other’

Mainstream media an example
Talking heads with nice hair
Propagandizing a worn out public
In pretense they even cared

All bought and paid for
With a note from the treasury
Just paper splashed with ink
Have helped to set their ethics free

But, Spirit moves among us
In the silence of the night
Unraveling evil forces
And bringing all to Light.

Linda Brady

Grandma Linda is a squigily peg in a square hole. Her poetry is aimed at moving the world to love, unity and perfect margaritas. And after years of perfecting the art, she has the skill to paint a better world and make it so.

When she is not serving customers, gazing at rocks, or visiting her grandchildren Linda is writing poetry. And even during all the above activities she has been known to write still.
