A Mouth or a Trough

Maxine Waters in her tirade
Sparking some to rage
Using language harshly
To darken history’s page

Supporters of the President
Need to duck and cover
“When and where you see them
Treat them like no other

Spit at them, if possible
Let them know your mind
Get right in their sorry face
Help them see they’re blind”

Her language is despicable
A representative of hate
To think she costs us taxes …
May she suffer her own fate

Turn her words inside herself
All the energy of rage
Help her to see the other side
That our world can turn this page

Linda Brady

Grandma Linda is a squigily peg in a square hole. Her poetry is aimed at moving the world to love, unity and perfect margaritas. And after years of perfecting the art, she has the skill to paint a better world and make it so.

When she is not serving customers, gazing at rocks, or visiting her grandchildren Linda is writing poetry. And even during all the above activities she has been known to write still.
