At the Back Door

Religion has had its part to play
In development of the ‘Hum’
Opening us to an aspect beyond
Yet keeping us significantly numb

Inherent within the unconscious mind
Recognition there’s forces at play
Present as well, on the Monopoly Board
Just energy hidden away

Energy takes multitudinous form
Material, physical, thought
Most we see and observe
But some is obvious not

The need for transportation
Has put four wheels on the ground
It was thought and need that worked to proceed
We now see cars all over town

It cannot be denied
Thought is an energy source
A collaborative group
Can move a thought ‘long it’s course

The thought of a thing, energy brings
A collective of minds can brings birth
The thought that was ‘thunk’, bout the basis of want
Comes from different beings on earth?

The man with the need may not know how to proceed
To get what he needs, manifest
But the frequency kind, passed by the mind
Puts engineers to the test

So inherent within, a good lot of men
The recognition there’s got to be more
That phenomena calls and has evolved
With religion at the back door.

Linda Brady

Grandma Linda is a squigily peg in a square hole. Her poetry is aimed at moving the world to love, unity and perfect margaritas. And after years of perfecting the art, she has the skill to paint a better world and make it so.

When she is not serving customers, gazing at rocks, or visiting her grandchildren Linda is writing poetry. And even during all the above activities she has been known to write still.
