Birth, Death, Eternity

Humanity, a slip and fall
Flowing back to Spirit
New leaders to arise
Christians stand to cheer it

“The end, the end is coming”
Echoes from the hall
A victory in believing?
Or, creator of it all

‘The truth,’ a truth to one
Relativity to another
Expectation providing energy
Chaos returning to each mother *(1)

A mother, not just a woman
Who issues from her womb
But he who visits chaos
Into the night of doom

As you reap, you’ll sow
Words lighting every path
What we judge we generate
Taking the equal sign to task

1/14/10

*(1) Characteristically, a mother is co-creator with God, bringing new life
into the world. In this case I’m proposing that as we believe we bring
creation to the fore, therefore anyone might become the bearer of creation.

Linda Brady

Grandma Linda is a squigily peg in a square hole. Her poetry is aimed at moving the world to love, unity and perfect margaritas. And after years of perfecting the art, she has the skill to paint a better world and make it so.

When she is not serving customers, gazing at rocks, or visiting her grandchildren Linda is writing poetry. And even during all the above activities she has been known to write still.
