Burden of Thought

by | Aug 26, 2022 | Uncategorized

We’ve been taught to think we think
Rather than a receptive observer
Receiving or sending frequency waves
Over-indulgence or a stingy conserver

The body-mind, a computer of sorts
With synapsis firing at will
Neurons doing their job
The brain transmitting down hill

Context and content develop
Inside the flavor of time
Within a river that runs
Reading and fearing our mind (*1)

The river of time or the force at our back
Can complicate each breath
When ignorance consumes your attention
Deception can lead to your death. (*2)

(*1) Reading and fearing our mind: In respect to our circumstances that
provide the context or the understanding of reality that we attach
ourselves to, we allow ideas to enter which can alter stability.

(*2) The most significant death would be that of the spirit. We get
railroaded into a conceptual domain whether it’s of a religious nature,
which too often under the umbrella of a label circumcises relationships.

Any ‘standing’ construct, whether education, race or even a particular
economic standing can provide the basis of judgment. Despite the fact
there are warnings against judgment, very often the very nature of lining
up within a community of like-minded individuals, the deception of
separation can take a spiritual toll.

Linda Brady

Grandma Linda is a squigily peg in a square hole. Her poetry is aimed at moving the world to love, unity and perfect margaritas. And after years of perfecting the art, she has the skill to paint a better world and make it so.

When she is not serving customers, gazing at rocks, or visiting her grandchildren Linda is writing poetry. And even during all the above activities she has been known to write still.
