Preface: Not a hundred percent sure about the inspiration of this poem,
although I think it had to do with our first born. She was working at
reinventing her life. Going through a divorce, hanging out at mom’s until
she found her wings to fly. This must have been the day they were leaving.

Let the voice inside your head
Empower you each moment
Not wash away your confidence
Giving reason to lament

The power that you hold
Helps to sculpt your life
The shower was your first desire
Cause you were gettin’ ripe (*1)

Success is there in front of you
Relax your anxious grip
Five Souls there in your shadow
Fuel for your little trip
The day in front beginning
Give it to the end

Enjoy the journey and support
Tomorrow, begin again.

Linda Brady

Grandma Linda is a squigily peg in a square hole. Her poetry is aimed at moving the world to love, unity and perfect margaritas. And after years of perfecting the art, she has the skill to paint a better world and make it so.

When she is not serving customers, gazing at rocks, or visiting her grandchildren Linda is writing poetry. And even during all the above activities she has been known to write still.
