Looking at the social order
And the value of traditions
They concretize social movement
With a hierarchy of positions
Education with degrees
And letters behind a name
Create status on the latter
And ignite a sense of fame *1
Individuals with our ‘little brains’ *2
Amplify the light
Giving credit inside dependence *3
It seems a legal right
Culture has a separate brain
Based in our belief *4
Constructs creating ballast
That now, from, seek relief.

*1 The line is a little over-done. It’s just that at the level of the
conscious and unconscious we have a tendency to elevate people who have
apparently moved through a body of information to acquire a specific
position. Of course, that generally only true until we get to know ‘the
other’ and realize their human frailties. Our culture has deliberately
been developed and coordinated to create that sense of separation and
division, elevating some and devaluing others. But, getting back to the
point, anyone who has spent a fortune on an education and dedicated a
portion of their life energy to acquiring some Aristotelian body of
information, they develop a different sense of self then those of us who
have jumped into the pool of karma to have life itself educate us.
*2 I touched on this above in referring to those of us who for whatever
reason do not seek higher education; but rather jump in to the deep end of
the pool and attempt to live life on our own terms. Many times, not
always, the doing so becomes provides the basis for learning through our
experiences, even when they appear to be failures.
For those who engage directly and learn from their mistakes, they become
the influencers for the rest of us. In this I am referring to the Unified
Field of consciousness, our progress as a collective of humanity is
enhanced each time development and understand expand. No man is an island,
we are all cells in the body of humanity.
*3 “Giving credit and dependence” I guess what I’m attempting to point to
here is that through our learning curve we are dependent on others to
become the mirrors so that we can see what we’re not otherwise able to
see. So, on one hand we are dependent on the victims of our ignorance to
be there. If it were not for those that we brush up against with contempt
and judgment; we would not be able to see where we hold ourselves back.
So, on one hand we are dependent and when we reach the point where we
understand that, we need to give credit and appreciation where it’s due.
Sometimes without actually attempting to explain what I thought I meant as
I reflect on confusing lines, I might not grasp the full meaning. The
effort to explain therefore became a doorway to see something beyond words
strung together. Revisiting this poem this day, May 29, 2021, allowed me
to re-unite with my higher mind to understand what had previously been
received.
*4 Because of the nature of indoctrination from birth on, stuff gets passed
down which dominates our way of being in the world. In referring to
‘culture’ it’s a reference to the mass of people who have been swayed into
a sense of insignificance. Whatever any particular culture adheres to
becomes the ballast that retards development.
