Exploiting Exhaustion

by | Aug 19, 2021 | Uncategorized

Every day brings something new
Impacting how we feel
From an internet review of Israeli Jews
Or covert actions yet unrevealed

Those who study mind and matter
Deciding what we need to hear
Do so after researching
What compilation drives up fear

Propagating propaganda, carried nationwide
Creates an imprint overtime
Repetition, a resourceful tool
To condition and control the mind.

The mind of man, his consciousness
Inventive, based in need
But in thoughtless times of rest
Imprinting can proceed

Exhausted from a hard day’s work
An AC, TV and a can of beer
Can hi-jack your attention
And exploit the fact you hear

Linda Brady

Grandma Linda is a squigily peg in a square hole. Her poetry is aimed at moving the world to love, unity and perfect margaritas. And after years of perfecting the art, she has the skill to paint a better world and make it so.

When she is not serving customers, gazing at rocks, or visiting her grandchildren Linda is writing poetry. And even during all the above activities she has been known to write still.
