Extended Inquiry

It was Einstein, I believe
Says that energy can’t die
Just merely changes form
Science can’t seem deny

What of the energy within our bodies
Flowing off of every page
Does it become an earthen gas
Waiting for another stage?

The whole damn things a puzzle
I must continually explore
Unlike my ‘no-mind’ counterpart (*1)
Who doesn’t want for more

Is my constant search for meaning
A revisit to my past (*2)
Where speculation spurred usury
In the creation of accepted casts?

My punishment or victory
Setting self and others free
Through the constant reverberation
Of just what it means to be

(*1) “*Unlike my ‘no-mind’ counterpart”*

Thomas (who I’ve referred to previously as TJS and “G,” finally someone who
‘gets’ me) my ‘no-mind’ counterpart has the ability to be in the moment
without past moments intervening. Each thing that occurs, occurs as a new
experience that lives beyond conjecture or structure. His way of operating
in the present moment is actually very compelling.

What I’ve come to realize as the result of coming together with him in a
state of absolute integration, I’m more easily able to see how I bring past
experiences forward to come to conclusions. It seems to be a human trait.
I think we have fellow human beings to thank for that, in as much as the
symbolism of ‘His-story’ has infiltrated everything.

It matters not if you are an atheist, a non-theist or a secular humanist,
given the fact that the Vatican developed and we go by the Gregorian
calendar makes everyone who uses their system of time subject to the
stories created over 2,000 years ago. Stories that become a distraction in
the ‘Now’ by imposing structures on us which force us to try to balance on
the two ice-bergs of then and now. Is my behavior in this moment
consistent with some historic dogma written by old bearded men with a god
complex.

(*2) “*A revisit to my past”*

Some of the stories that I entertain are about reincarnation. If we are
energy and recycle; not unlike an apple falling from a tree, rotting and
becoming a nutrient source for the tree, do we re-emerge? If we do
re-emerge, do we have a responsibility or a ‘soul-contract’ attached to any
particular incarnation. When you have an active imagination, you can write
fiction if you so desire.

But thoughts have the power to control us. Words are the active
ingredients that produce thoughts. Our observations and conclusions can
produce an imbalance whereby we loose the freedom just to exist. This is
where my ‘no-mind’ partner enters into the gate of my existence. It is in
my intention to be able to stand outside the ‘HUM’ or bubble with him and
just learn how to BE. He has demonstrated what Christians would call
Ascension, or an Ascended state without having to cash out first.

Linda Brady

Grandma Linda is a squigily peg in a square hole. Her poetry is aimed at moving the world to love, unity and perfect margaritas. And after years of perfecting the art, she has the skill to paint a better world and make it so.

When she is not serving customers, gazing at rocks, or visiting her grandchildren Linda is writing poetry. And even during all the above activities she has been known to write still.
