Father, Son & the Holy Ghost

by | Mar 21, 2021 | Philosophy

Nature, Character, Personality, Soul
Inherent, learned and developed
Transmigration throughout Eternity
Each era works to envelop

Our nature reflects the father*(1)
Just as from each are spermed
Our essence left over from lifetimes
And containing the stuff we learned

Our character reflects the son
Each child learns, “carry your load”
Mistakes, mishaps and training
With guidance can travel each road

Our personality is born of character
From the forces there upon
Mother, father, siblings, friends
Traditions, laws and cons

Our spirit connects us to GOD
Energy, intelligence, light
The stillness found in silence
Our soul, the part that’s quiet

The Holy Ghost is wholly*(2)
A synthesis we all grow to be
Connecting through the unconscious
With an inherent desire to be free

Energies coalesce
In an effort to see what’s not apparent
A Chinese finger puzzle*(3)
Finding obstructions that live most inherent

Our struggles insure continuity
Everything staying the same
We point to the faults of ‘the other’
Finding ‘the other’ to blame

So the Father, Son and Wholly Ghost
‘Are part and parcel of who we are
In heaven or hell, by opinion
It’s the attitude causing us scars

PTSD*(4) is so common
As each is dumped on the stage
Birthed by father and mother
In pursuit of renewing each age*(5)

*(1) “Our nature reflects the father” We receive our DNA from our paternal
donor. Our essential nature, our soul or spirit is the accumulated
experience that we carry from one lifetime to another.

*(2) “The Holy Ghost is wholly” we are connected to everything [the whole
world] through the field of intelligence, what science might call the Chaos
Theory, one thing affects everything else through ‘the invisible hand.’

*(3) “A Chinese finger puzzle” remember those woven cylinders that you
stick two fingers in from opposite hands. The more you try to force them
apart, the more stuck they get.

That’s what happens to us, we get stuck inside of situations that cause us
to react with force or anger. We can’t see that the solution lies within
our domain of reaction, or that we caused an escalation in the situation
based on our reaction in the first place.

*(4) “PTSD is so common’ Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

*(5) “In pursuit of renewing each age” each successive period from which we
came

Linda Brady

Grandma Linda is a squigily peg in a square hole. Her poetry is aimed at moving the world to love, unity and perfect margaritas. And after years of perfecting the art, she has the skill to paint a better world and make it so.

When she is not serving customers, gazing at rocks, or visiting her grandchildren Linda is writing poetry. And even during all the above activities she has been known to write still.
