History’s Perversion

Preface to History’s Perversion. I think this was written back when Native
Americans were upset because the government allowed their lands to be
breached. All of it having to do with oil and its transport. I was very
sympathetic to what was going on as becomes obvious in the poem.

There is something else that needs to be pointed out, that is the theft of
the American Indians homesteads. If the Socialist-Communist movement were
allowed to take over, people of every color, creed and background would be
in the same position as the Indians were when their properties were
encroached on. The world could essentially be a continuous number of
autonomous zones.

I am not suggesting that we cut off oil or gas, I certainly think the whole
Green thing is a giant hoax to find a new way to create laws to take away
the creature comforts we’ve come to depend on. Those who are standing for
the Green New Deal are being misinformed.

The history of the USA
From beginning, was a lie
A line we floated proudly. . .
. . . It was discovered by a guy (*1)

The aggression that we rolled up with
Ripped the Natives world apart
. . Set up shop and drove them out
Self-deception from the start

We, the people who came after
All live our little lives
Giving thought to our own boundaries
Not how others might survive

In the shadow of destruction
As bare essentials are at stake
Outdated industries struggling
As the Masses come awake

The issue now before us
Is whether oil and water mix
As the industry seems stalwart
With a military fix

Oil leaks and water pollution
Have left behind their mark
Despite this tawdry history
We’re surrounded still by sharks

The Natives who were here before
We rolled up. . . and stole their land
Are back to the beginning
But now, with a different stand

With the corruption that is government
We’ve worked to arm them well
Our taxes bought technology
Now they tell us. . . go to hell

The tact that is the current Native theme
. . . . to gain support around
Simply saying what is true
There’s resonance in the sound

Supplication to the spirit world . . . .
Forces on the move
Protectors holding space for Love
As support for which improve

The world is quickly waking
As it’s clear what is at stake
For us. . . and them. . . and continuity
And a Treaty they can’t remake.

“Water is life is echoed”
In every demonstration
A truth that’s undisputable
Across all of life’s creations.

(*1). . . . “It was discovered by a guy”. . . . Christopher Columbus. The
way they portray the ‘discovery’ makes it sound like it was lost. No, it
wasn’t lost, people lived here, and when they objected to being moved in
on, they had to go, they had to be controlled. We are seeing that here and
now with Biden and the Democrats attempting to destroy what has been
created. We are the American Citizens being bum-rushed
