Learning Just to Be

by | Mar 28, 2021 | Philosophy

We draw into our circle
From what we need to learn
Depending on our paths intent
Which unconsciously we yearn

Our Soul, beyond the world’s control
Controls the world around
By degree, we let It be
And to be, to ‘Be’ is found

Resistance to unsettling things
Fuels them to sustain
Finger pointing doesn’t help
No leverage is to gain

Consciousness our fuel to use
Emotions become a Force
Drawing and repelling
Our lifetime, daily course

Be of cheer … and grateful dear
And thankful every minute
If what is so, is hard to tow
The Universe will spin it.

Linda Brady

Grandma Linda is a squigily peg in a square hole. Her poetry is aimed at moving the world to love, unity and perfect margaritas. And after years of perfecting the art, she has the skill to paint a better world and make it so.

When she is not serving customers, gazing at rocks, or visiting her grandchildren Linda is writing poetry. And even during all the above activities she has been known to write still.
