Giving reality its direction
Diseases of the human brain
May help lead life’s correction

The myths which create a stranglehold
Dissolves as the mind lets go

Note: These stanzas are attempting to suggest that dementia and Alzheimer’s
disease may have effects that are not readily seen. If consciousness,
individually and collectively affects the world we live in, releasing the
concretized perspectives and living only in the now may be some overarching
plan that we have not been able to grasp fully.

Grandma Linda is a squigily peg in a square hole. Her poetry is aimed at moving the world to love, unity and perfect margaritas. And after years of perfecting the art, she has the skill to paint a better world and make it so.

When she is not serving customers, gazing at rocks, or visiting her grandchildren Linda is writing poetry. And even during all the above activities she has been known to write still.
