Natures Harvest

by | Mar 16, 2021 | Philosophy

Nature is amazing
From the cradle to grave
Metaphors a plenty
Attention’s all it takes

A farmer pursues a harvest
Seeds planted in the ground
Then goes about his business
On the farm, or yet in town

Each seed dictates its outcome
As its’ future’s unopposed
Nature does its handywork
Time and water let it grow

Architecture or an archetype
Nature made or touched by man
Science used for or against us
Is it an overarching plan?

If everything is energy
And energies all there is
What could be the outcome?
Or, of what a future might consist?

Well, just as with a farmer
Planting seeds kind
Gets his designated crop
Produced over time

The intentions within an evil plot
Housed inside a human heart
Is DNA of self-destruction
Self destruction, from the start

Energy is all there is
Creates a vortex or a wake
Malevolence born of ignorance
Done so by mistake

Linda Brady

Grandma Linda is a squigily peg in a square hole. Her poetry is aimed at moving the world to love, unity and perfect margaritas. And after years of perfecting the art, she has the skill to paint a better world and make it so.

When she is not serving customers, gazing at rocks, or visiting her grandchildren Linda is writing poetry. And even during all the above activities she has been known to write still.
