. . . Not Really an Option: ACA/’ObamaCare’

by | Mar 22, 2021 | Political

Sick to my Soul, Am I
For what I see
Extortion, exploitation
Of a citizenry

How much are they paying
For selling us out?
A rhetorical question
Your ‘seat’, no doubt

Credibility is waning
As no standing have we
Taxpayers in limbo
In the land of the ‘free’

Money’s not evil
It’s the people who are
What price is a conscience?
How great are your scars?

Healthcare. . . with an option
The language that’s used
A fine to the poor
If the ‘option’s’ refused.

This has got to be some form of criminal act against the citizens of our
country.

Linda Brady

Grandma Linda is a squigily peg in a square hole. Her poetry is aimed at moving the world to love, unity and perfect margaritas. And after years of perfecting the art, she has the skill to paint a better world and make it so.

When she is not serving customers, gazing at rocks, or visiting her grandchildren Linda is writing poetry. And even during all the above activities she has been known to write still.
