An exorcist by definition
Bringing the shadow to the light
The psychic abuse
Delivered by news
Just fear porn
To strengthen our plight

The reiteration that’s done
By the news on the run
A single job to do
In the language we use
Generate fear, consternation
Toward the collapse of our nation

Puppets, with no mind of their own
For prestige most prone
Reading fear-porn out-loud
Purposely inciting the crowds
But the publics not sheep
Not most fast asleep
Seeing TV just a tool
Owned by pricks and fools
Turn away, turn it off
Seeing the brain-washing cost.

To own one’s own Soul
A permanent goal
Emotions and thoughts
Must be earned, not bought
As we stand in our Truth
No longer confused
Create a world worth a share
By the news uncompared
