Rebel Without a Pause

by | Apr 4, 2021 | Political

The Democratic Party sends me propaganda, wanting to keep their finger on
the pulse of the population and line their pockets with our money. This is
a copy of a poem that I sent instead of filling out their questionnaire.

Three times a survey sent
Two of which ignored
Touching base with locals
A way to build accord

The system seems beyond repair
‘Self-serving’, as it seems
Corporations pay for favors
With our patronage as means

NAFTA, back in ninety one
was the coffin’s nail
Empowerment and Enterprise zones
Helped the local scene to fail

The final act that showed me
How little it is we mean …
ObamaCare attached with fines
Pickin’ the little guy clean

No confidence remains in me
As far as the system goes
The election is a circus
Just distraction, heaven knows

Save yourself a stamp
Your survey is a hoot
To make us think election time
Will cause the system to reboot

If my attention, you want to garner
Fire the President on the spot
Rescind ObamaCare
For the ‘people’s care’ is NOT!!

Overturn the orders
As ‘Executive’ he made
Do that to give credence
To the system through which you’re paid!

Most of the people I have communications with feel pretty much the same
way. Think tanks, professors and consultation firms are paid billions to
keep their finger on our pulse, they’re the ones responsible for the ‘false
flags’ that are being generated that lead to more laws that shave away more
and more of our Civil Rights.

There are strategies in play to generate fear, to create decisiveness and
to generally confuse people into thinking that whatever the government
decides to do, it must be to protect us. But that’s just the opposite of
the intent. Control and domination is the long term plan.

Surveys like the one you sent are just supposed to make us think that we
actually have a part in this whole scenario of Democracy but, not everyone
is asleep out here.

The United States is tantamount to the Titanic and I’m not sure what it
will take to right it.

Grandma Linda is a squigily peg in a square hole. Her poetry is aimed at moving the world to love, unity and perfect margaritas. And after years of perfecting the art, she has the skill to paint a better world and make it so.

When she is not serving customers, gazing at rocks, or visiting her grandchildren Linda is writing poetry. And even during all the above activities she has been known to write still.
