Redemption

by | Mar 25, 2021 | Spiritual

Redemption is an inside job
That is, surrendering ones will
Sanctification of the Spirit
And hearing God’s voice when still

It may not be auditory
One heard with human ear
Or conversely, someone used by Him
To support us through our fear

The moment of conversion
When the old man’s put away
May happen with a struggle
Cause our path has gone astray

But, once it is we’re sanctified
When God has us in His fold
He’s there to shed His light of Love
Of value passing gold

Linda Brady

Grandma Linda is a squigily peg in a square hole. Her poetry is aimed at moving the world to love, unity and perfect margaritas. And after years of perfecting the art, she has the skill to paint a better world and make it so.

When she is not serving customers, gazing at rocks, or visiting her grandchildren Linda is writing poetry. And even during all the above activities she has been known to write still.
