Reinvention of a Paradigm

The chaos in the ‘Old World’ (*1)
Ego and separation in the lead
A Third-Dimension creation
Where energies compete

The principle of non-duality
Somehow seems missing
Within this systemic deluge
For judgments ‘bout resisting

We look into our daily lives
With ghosts present from our past
The DNA of history
Part and parcel of our cast

While our DNA and chromosomes
All stored within the sperm
We see it in our systems too
Indoctrinations like a germ

A virus like the Covid
Gain of Function enters in
To bring us to compliance
To demonstrate, the government’s our friend

We’ve been fed a dualistic theme
And religion is to blame
Splitting energy like atoms
Seems it and science hope to maim (*2)

That’s true of yesterday
But yesterday’s no more
People waking to see the light
And what the future has in store

As we understand the part we play
And how our energy’s been used
We’ll take back our power
And curtail the damned abuse

Let every situation
Be seen as just a step
To get us to our power
And away from everything inapt

[Note: I named the poem prior to typing it. In order to bring something
new forward, rather than just complain, I had to include the last three
stanzas.]

(*1) “The chaos in the ‘Old World’ is speaking of the entirety of what
we’ve been putting up with.

On one hand we’ve advanced in many ways; but our essential nature has been
hidden and used to our disadvantage.

(*2) “Seems it and science hope to maim.” ‘It’ refers to religion as a
mechanism of control.

Linda Brady

Grandma Linda is a squigily peg in a square hole. Her poetry is aimed at moving the world to love, unity and perfect margaritas. And after years of perfecting the art, she has the skill to paint a better world and make it so.

When she is not serving customers, gazing at rocks, or visiting her grandchildren Linda is writing poetry. And even during all the above activities she has been known to write still.
