Retreat: To Treat Again

by | Apr 5, 2021 | Philosophy

Retreat is not a dirty word
Or one suggesting failure
Implicit … to treat again
Like an advertising mailer

Once a path’s revealed itself
There’s nothing else to do
But to circle the encampment
To find another path to choose

The point herein in question
Perception, language, pronouns
Pearl casting explanations
Will the audience confound

Retreating to the tower
In transition of intent
Cause the Morphic Field is churning
And seldom is content

Grandma Linda is a squigily peg in a square hole. Her poetry is aimed at moving the world to love, unity and perfect margaritas. And after years of perfecting the art, she has the skill to paint a better world and make it so.

When she is not serving customers, gazing at rocks, or visiting her grandchildren Linda is writing poetry. And even during all the above activities she has been known to write still.
