The Cutting Edge of Everything

by | Mar 30, 2021 | Philosophy

The New Age has been doubted
By those of retrospect
While standing in a context
Viewed without respect

Dragging bones behind themselves
As if a job to do
Beckoned by the future
As an infant starting new

The mind and heart are partners
Both are called to play
As we face life’s lessons
Inside each passing day

Our Presence is required
Awake, aware, all in
To feel what’s real each moment
To move with life again

The bad things leave a mark
Or … joy holds us in its grasp
Living in the moment. .. PRESENT
Is our EVER-PRESENT task.

Linda Brady

Grandma Linda is a squigily peg in a square hole. Her poetry is aimed at moving the world to love, unity and perfect margaritas. And after years of perfecting the art, she has the skill to paint a better world and make it so.

When she is not serving customers, gazing at rocks, or visiting her grandchildren Linda is writing poetry. And even during all the above activities she has been known to write still.
