Two scientists in the sixties
Had a task at hand
Delivering Chemo where was needed
Defeating cancer was the plan
Discovered in the process
Liposomes, the trick
A fat bubble to encapsulate
So, to their job could stick (*1)
The Chemo then protected
Delivering where was needed
Put a patent on their discovery
Patients happy they succeeded
Years and years beyond that point
With the patent running out
A wise man with a vision
Could see its future, free of doubt
A businessman name of Dallin Larsen
Had retired from what he’d done
Two businesses born through history
The health industry from where he’d come (*2)
A future spent just golfing
Losing its appeal
Decided once again
Toward an industry to heal
This time, a little twist
Since the patent would expire
Adaptation then of Liposomes
Health across the board inspired
With the patent on its last leg
Other ‘comers’ could conceive
How or why the Liposomes
And of what they could achieve
Dallin a man of insight
Reached out to a Pharmacognatist (*3)
Tracy Gibbs, by name
He gave Liposomes a twist
Tracy, renowned and at the top (*4)
Nutraceutical formulations as such
Mixing, blending, creating
Saw the challenge as a must
The product line’s superior
The formulations all unique
By-passing all obstructions
Not flushed out in your pee
Finally, is a company
Interested in our health
Providing for our possibility
Not simply for their wealth
The name, very different
VASAYO, inquired from wince it came
“To serve others” quite succinct
With their intention ever plain
Reaching beyond hard-wired boundaries (*5)
Altruism in expression
A ‘Golden Age Arising’
May be the final lesson

(*1) Many things interfere with what we take orally, stomach acid for one.
The development of this delivery system was assurance that that which was
be ingested, the cells would actually get, rather than just flushed out of
the body.
(*2) Both businesses were very successful, but he thought retirement would
serve him and his wife. The sale of their businesses had netted them a
very handsome future. But when he realized that the patent on their
discovery was ready to expire and the possibilities that it opened up, he
decided to see if he could find ways of using Liposomes to better serve
humanity. Rather than delivering poisons to the body to kill off aberrant
cells, what about delivering to the body those things which would enrich it.
*3) My computer has a spell-checker on it and it suggests I’ve spelled the
word wrong. Since I’ve never run across the term before, and not knowing
if the computer spell-checker is correct, I’ll give you their spelling. I
made a note of the word as Diane Munholland/Mulholland (?) was sharing the
story about Pharmacogenetics and the history of its discovery. They, the
spell-checker says Pharmacogenetics not the way I spelled it up top.
(*4) Tracy Gibbs is one of the top men in the entire world in his field of
endeavor.
(*5) From first we arrive as babies we gain our concepts from everyone
and everything around. Our culture, as we’re beginning to realize is full
of ‘social engineering.’ To be able to set-aside the selfish motivations is
what it will take to create the thousand years of peace we’ve been
promised. My initial exposure to this company sees them as an ice-breaker.
