Trying to Push the ‘Start Over Button’

Not sure about this poem. Perhaps it was a matter of waking up to all the
crimes and complicity that have taken place through time and yet as long as
you have friends in high places, judgment is never meted out.

Given the fact that Prisons have been privatized, it pays to have people
locked up.

This poem was written before the lunatics of Antifa and BLM started burning
looting. I guess I’d like to see people rehabilitated and given a second
authentic chance to make a life for themselves.

Set free prisoners of chaos
As each karmic debt is paid
Allow the river of life to cleanse
All the ‘sins’ you think you made

Errors done in judgment poor
Reveals the nature of a flaw
Nothing more or less
Of which guilt would claim us all

Linda Brady

Grandma Linda is a squigily peg in a square hole. Her poetry is aimed at moving the world to love, unity and perfect margaritas. And after years of perfecting the art, she has the skill to paint a better world and make it so.

When she is not serving customers, gazing at rocks, or visiting her grandchildren Linda is writing poetry. And even during all the above activities she has been known to write still.
