Welfare/Abortion

by | Mar 18, 2021 | Uncategorized

This poem will rancor many, but after they assassinated Kennedy, Johnson
took his marching orders to generate more vote within the underclass by
providing rewards. Welfare expanded and money was made available to
support women with children who were unmarried. But, looking at this
scenario in 2021, perhaps the effort to increase the population was to
provide more fodder for the Satanists. Sometimes things sound benevolent;
but often there are unseen agendas.

Birth and death, events
The changing of a name
Spirit moving in and out
Is spirit, just the same

The playing field is culture
It changes with the time
Laws, a force that man imposes
Impacts the paradigm

Some, with the least to gain
Some, with the least to lose
Make choices, impacting all of us
Depending on what they chose

Reform back in the sixties
Dolled money to the poor
Dependents thus delivered
Helped them score some more

Rather than this, a helpful thing
It taught the poor bad habits
Procreation greased the wheel
Turning ‘dependent poor’ to rabbits

Abortion came in fashion
Life legally deferred
The only ones who chose it
Had an IQ to conserve

Teaching comes in many ways
We see children press the limits
Adults, kids in grown-up clothes
With wants and demands to ‘give-it!’(*)

We’ve expanded our base of poverty
Because poverty, is rewarded
The jails are full of examples
A reality, we can’t afford it!

(*) Perhaps it should read to have it, to get what they want. They want
society to give them what they want.

Linda Brady

Grandma Linda is a squigily peg in a square hole. Her poetry is aimed at moving the world to love, unity and perfect margaritas. And after years of perfecting the art, she has the skill to paint a better world and make it so.

When she is not serving customers, gazing at rocks, or visiting her grandchildren Linda is writing poetry. And even during all the above activities she has been known to write still.
