[West Coast Linda] Inspiration and Builders

by | Mar 21, 2021 | Uncategorized

In Egypt, under the leadership of Pharaoh, we toted, carried
and strained our cuts until relieved of the slave distinction by death.

Ayn Rand, a contemporary philosopher, whose major contribution
was the idea that selfishness is a virtue, would have us believe, as in her
novel, Atlas Shrugged, that we owe allegiance to those who built our world
rather than acknowledging ourselves as the builders of the world, as well
as, the inspiration to the build.

‘Generation X’ is her legacy, those of like mind, willing to
leave us behind by disassociation. It is a generation that utilizes their
will to systematize a world which exists without heart.

Grandma Linda is a squigily peg in a square hole. Her poetry is aimed at moving the world to love, unity and perfect margaritas. And after years of perfecting the art, she has the skill to paint a better world and make it so.

When she is not serving customers, gazing at rocks, or visiting her grandchildren Linda is writing poetry. And even during all the above activities she has been known to write still.
