Born into a particular paradigm, or world model makes it difficult to
imagine how it might have been to be born into other historic periods; or
how our collective thinking changed over time.
It’s equally difficult to contemplate the sense of pressure a given
paradigm might have asserted on us, were we there. But, like throwing away
old clothes, we support a paradigm shift, every time we examine ideas that
no longer serve us.
